    What a depressing movie!

This one was pretty good but kind of just felt like a Frankenstein film… a buncha different parts pieced together. The first half is kinda slow and feels like a film you’d wanna turn off, but it eventually picks up and gets progressively more depressing.

Nothing I’d ever watch again, but is worth a one time viewing. Had a lot of interesting questions posed, and interesting ideas, just think the execution was a little off.

This short was better than the whole season. The season was C+, this short was B+.

Look, the anime is classic and one of the best ever made, so did anyone really expect the live-action, US remake starring Harold and Kumar (who never watched the original anime) to REALLY knock our socks off??

The show has a horrible problem trying to find it’s footing… unable to reach a firm stance on the tone of the show, the pacing, or the…

Hey! Welcome to my 3000th film!

It’s been a long, introverted journey to reach this point but here I am. Also keep in mind that it’s 3000 one time watches, this doesn’t account for the endless times I’ve seen some movies!

Anyway, I’ve had 8 1/2 on my “to watch” list since I was about 20… so for 15 years, this movie has been gnawing away slowly at the back of my mind.…

    I finished it 🤷🏻‍♂️

On a more important note, the next film I watch is going to be 8 1/2 because I have never seen a Fellini film, because I’m a big stupid idiot. Not just that, but it’s going to be my 3000th film!! Oh man, what to wear for the occasion??

I could write a book on this movie, but I will spare you my nerd-anger. Just know that if you were waiting YEARS for a RE movie based on the games (like I have been) and not some weird sci-fi action interpretation…. this isn’t it. There is NOTHING redeeming about this movie. And every reference to the video game is a huge WIIIIIIINNNNNKKKKKK to the audience. Like “heh get it??? get it???”

And take note of how many times the…

Oh, no!! Are we losing Edgar Wright, too??

I didn’t like his Sparks documentary because it was too formulaic and just a bunch of talking… and now this??

Look… I can 100% tell what he was going for here, and I completely commend him for stepping out of his comfort zone for both this and the Sparks documentary… but something just isn’t clicking unless it’s got some Edgar Wright flare to it.

I knew, going into it, this was gonna…

This has been sitting in my queue for YEARS. But after watching Lamb a bit ago, I needed more Noomi Rapace in my life (don’t we all??) so my fiancé finally sat my ass down and made me watch it (one of the few movies she’s seen and I haven’t - and she loves it).

I’m really bummed I didn’t watch it back when, but glad it was here for me now.

Noomi Rapace does a great job playing SEVEN…
