I know literally every review has praised the actors, but I can’t not talk about the spectacular talent displayed here. The supporting cast did a great job, and Viola Davis was amazing, but Chadwick Boseman... just fucking incredible, man. My expectations were extremely high due to all the hype, and he exceeded them.
I think this movie could’ve been a little more focused, and the editing wasn’t that great, but the music, the performances and the ending made this a really satisfying and impactful experience. One of my favorites of the year.
And the shoe scene may seem exaggerated, but that’s really just how sneakerheads be acting
