Victor’s review published on Letterboxd:
Disappointing! The first act or first 20-30min were solid hence the one star. Lewis Tan is an amazing actor but he worked with bad script, awfully bad directing and some cast members had flat acting while others exhumed over the top theatrics.
I expected to see the champions fighting, which is basically what the whole series is about. However, the premise of this one was Cole Young being prevented from reaching his full potential and all abilities that he possesses which makes him one of the chosen ones. This film was basically about being stopped, he just never got to live the champion life.
Even the buildup was disappointing, which is bad because to some extend visual effects tried but the overall CGI felt cheap like this was not a Warner Brothers project. What a terrible movie!
