Every frame is filled with little details outside the main focus that make the movie more rewarding on rewatch. The typing in Badger’s office, Bean radioing Petey while Petey’s right behind him, and the fucking whackbat game are just a few moments that keep your attention. It’s just harder to cheat with stop motion I guess. This has me excited for The French Dispatch.
