Just another trans girl.
It is (as far as I can tell) (I've watched a lot of em) the first scripted feature length non pornographic (tho it does have uncensored cock lol) film to ever show two trans women played by trans women kissing. Automatically groundbreaking for even just ticking that box. It also really is just so pretty. Great soundtrack too (provided by one of the actors Rachika Samarth).
I went in dreading it and viewing it as homework, but (and maybe it helped that I was watching it with a girl and was a little boozy) it was actually kinda legit. Like still kinda meandering and with a "for cis audiences" vibe, but an alright time. It got us talking at a few points. And it's just chill seeing so many t slurs together in one movie.
Afterwards tho we watched some actual documentary shorts from the 60s (that I had found in different places and had been holding onto) and even as a rewatch they went so much harder lol.
One of my favorite movies. I've rewatched it with so many girls. It's so gay. It's so horny. It's so important that you not confuse it with Crash (2004).
The writing, acting, music, direction, etc is all top notch. Every part of it is quality.
The thing to understand is that Crash isn't just about people that fetishize car crashes (or the reshaping of the human body and sexuality by modern technology). The movie itself fetishizes it. The movie presents…
Memory Run is maybe my favourite movie. I saw it for the first time like maybe less than a year ago and I've probably watched it like almost a dozen times since then. Just watched it again last night too. It's becoming my go to movie when I have a trans girl over for the first time and I've gotta pick a movie for us to watch. It's fuckin rad.
Memory Run is the low budget direct to video predecessor…
