Still a very good musical and biopic.
The pacing is top notch.
There is no one who uses the camera quite like Gaspar Noé. It fits the story perfectly.
This world is fast, loud and has nothing grounded, nothing substantial that would give us a rest. And so, the movie is a trip that gets you excited, makes you want to stop and finally has you needing more.
Overall this film could have been a bit shorter for me. But this feeling just increased how I feel about the film in general.

The first act of this movie had me crunching my teeth, sweating, breathing with the given rhythm and feeling awful in await of what is going to happen. The cinematography does not gave me one moment of relaxation, instead it builds and builds and builds until it cuts to black. This is the single most gripping scene I had the last year if any new film. It might even be one oft the best scenes ever.
