When I grow up & get older I wanna be just like Sissy Spacek in this movie - & she & Robert Redford also have great rapport.
Perhaps the key to it is to just go through Redford's little black book, get Tom Waits & Danny Glover as support & sit back, watching it all flow effortlessly together.
I'm really pleased that Dir. David Lowery is back, especially after the thumbs-down Ghost, & even more pleased that his muse, young Affleck , isn't wasted under a sheet & is also doing what he does best.
Loved the Production Design & Musical score but loved the Cinematography more.
When Redford first appeared, an audience could've been forgiven for thinking that they were there to see a more senior Johnny Hooker & Henry Gondorff (Paul Newman) in The Sting VIII, the latest in that uber successful franchise.
It looked & sounded so wonderfully authentic, & had the same love for the characters.
And kids ... watch this movie just to see that there was once a time when Banks & their staff were genuinely respected, trusted, helpful & friendly - not overpaid & commissioned spivs with nasty spinning dollar signs for eyeballs.
