DESSERT WINE

Was fully prepared to hate this, but I really didn’t! I know I am not the first person to point this out, but the acting, costumes, set design, dancing, etc all work beautifully BUT emma stone and ryan gosling’s voices were so thin that every vocal performance just totally took me out of the experience. 

the ending though, phew

GODDAMN I’m glad I saw this in a theater, the sound design was brilliant, every fart from willem dafoe just crashed over me

as a giant nerd who never went to parties in high school I am legally obligated to like this movie
