Everything that's bad about modern horror movies is in this, annoying homages to actually good old school horror. Trying way too hard to be serious while being written like a fucking episode of a CW show.
Turned it off about 40 minutes in so if it got GOATED all of a sudden please forgive me, but everything up until that was cliche filled and a pacing nightmare. Going way too fast, while also feeling like nothing was ever happening. With a fucking epic dubstep intro to top it all off, like I was watching someones COD compilation.
Also I've noticed this as more of late, but I swear a lot of these big budget directors are forgetting how to shoot things in actual locations, they all look like really early Rocket Jump videos rather than actual movies.
