Barney’s review published on Letterboxd:
i loved basically everything Nia DaCosta did with this. everything came together to create a great horror film which was what i was mainly hoping for.
the acting was great and i don’t think it’s possible for Colman Domingo to give a bad performance no matter how big or small the role is.
i think it did have some pacing issues at times and i would have liked for it to be a bit longer (maybe that’s just because i really loved the ending) but otherwise i really liked this.
