“Love me into shape, I suppose”
Emma Stone did that... What begins as a somewhat slow start snowballs into a thrilling showdown between Emma Stones Cruella and Emma Thompsons Baronness, both of which are perfectly acted right on that line between camp and melodrama. The score and the costume design stand out so much and I felt like this was everything I was promised. The only complaint I might have is that the film is held back just a touch from going full throttle by still being a Disney branded film, but only a touch. If you can go in with an open mind I think there’s something to love for everyone.
Absolutely phenomenal. Emma Stone can do anything 👏 some strange blend of Joker, The Devil Wears Prada and Oceans 8
