Josh Stewart’s review published on Letterboxd:
It’s always a rough one. But it’s as important as ever. I can even forgive that insanely on-the-nose final line. I can’t abide everything that happens here (and on DVD I always watch that animal-cruelty-free version because I love fake violence but an iota of the real thing fucks me up) but what it has to say? I’m there for that.
It is strange to me that we had this, then Man Bites Dog, then literally every other movie about found footage during the major craze of the 2000s was about fucking boring stupid shit where nothing happened.
