    Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is an absolute disgrace to the beloved franchise. The acting is awful (especially from Megan Fox, seriously how does she keep getting work?!?! She can’t act!!), the turtles and Splinter look awful, the plot is rushed, the turtles felt pushed aside by the human characters, the script is poor, and the depictions of these characters are terrible. This reboot is basically a Michael Bay movie. Even though he didn’t direct it and only produced, it sure…

    Tomb Raider

When I saw first saw this in the cinema, I was surprised by how much I liked it and I still think it’s great, especially for a video game movie.

Alicia Vikander is great in this movie. Her performance as the well-known character Lara Croft is so good. She makes the character feel more human. She isn’t just a perfect, gun-wielding badass, she’s vulnerable, she makes mistakes and when she first finds herself in this situation she’s scared, just like…

    Jurassic Park

I don't think there's ever been a dinosaur movie as good as Jurassic Park. And it's also my favorite movie directed by Steven Spielberg. The director did an amazing job when making this and I'm very glad he gave us this film. There's just so much to love about it.

  • Crawl

Throughout the years we’ve been given many shark movies but barley any alligator movies. I’m happy to say that we’ve been given a great one. With great performances from the two leads, good CGI, intense thrills and impressive atmosphere, Crawl is a very fun creature feature. Plus I really like that they decided to have the alligators just be regular alligators, instead of being mutated or scientifically altered in some way. All these positives make this one of the most surprisingly good movies of 2019 so far.
