Branson Reese’s review published on Letterboxd:
We watched this in high school to get ready for our production of Midsummer Night’s Dream set in the 60s (we were the first and only production to set the play in this wild era)
I was Bottom and they were doing sort of a hippie thing with the mechanicals (the play was set during every year of the 60s simultaneously I guess) so I didn’t really get a lot from it but it’s a great movie. Very fun.
You’re probably wondering how the play went. Well friends, I tell ya: if you remember the 60s you weren’t really there.
