Brendonyu668’s review published on Letterboxd:
A revolution? More like a decay.
The direction is problematic, the screenplay is unstable. Although I liked the ending, the rest of the film felt flat and not interesting at all. The acting is fine, but not too impressive.
However, the cinematography deserves some praise. The editing is fine at the most. The over reliance of visual effects is the downfall of the film.
The Zion fight sequence is unnecessary long and has bad CGI effects. It completely drags down the film.
The production design is not the best. The action sequences are pretty lacking in this film.
A wasted effort. Recommended if you are interested in The Matrix films.
