Brendonyu668’s review published on Letterboxd:
The direction is fine, the screenplay is generally good, but not great. It is not as memorable. The acting is decent - Travolta did an unexpected great performance as a criminal and Washington did an excellent job portraying a restrained character.
The cinematography is a bit inconsistent at times - some spinning shots are unnecessary and the slow motion shots are not used well. The editing is a bit off, especially in the action sequences. There is a lack of suspense.
The sound design is pretty good and the music is used appropriately.
Not a bad film, but it is flawed. Recommended!
