I mean, this movie's pretty much the definition of iconic, right? Iconic film from the 80s, at the very least. This movie just has so much going for it and really hardly anything against it. The characters, especially, are absolutely perfect and are quickly defined from the second we meet each of them. Every character is layered, fleshed-out and flawed. Just about every scene is iconic and serves the characters in incredible ways. There is hardly any plot to speak of, but the comedy and characters make this so worthwhile and so enjoyable. Probably my only complaint is Allison's makeover, which feels unnecessary and is almost a disservice to the character. Even still, i can't deny how much I love literally everything else about this movie and I'm not gonna hold back from giving this a 5/5.
