I watched this film about a hundred times as a kid so I'm a little biased, but I truly do believe that Kung Fu Panda is something special in this century's run of animated films.

Jack Black plays the funniest, cuddliest protagonist ever; he acts with such an infectious enthusiasm and seeing Po geek out as begins his journey is so fun. Ian McShane also brings a real sense of threat to a well-rounded, intimidating villian, too.

The Chinese setting is well-respected and well-utilized. The action is great and the cast of characters is incredibly colorful. I still think the movie is just as hilarious, and there really is a lot of wisdom in some of the lines if you lighten up enough to listen. It's a tight movie; easy, enjoyable, nice to look at and just fun to watch.
