Brett Blumenkopf’s review published on Letterboxd:
One of the best compliments I think I can give is that I can't wait to watch all 209 minutes of this again. It's both exactly what I was hoping it would be, yet not quite what I expected, either. There's understandably a lot to chew on here, so there's no doubt in my mind that repeat viewings will just improve what is already a very rich initial viewing. It's thrilling, elegiac, often very funny, and always captivating. Yes, it's long, but it's long with a purpose, and I don't think the film would be as affecting as it is without that massive length. And it goes without saying, but goddamn it is good to see Joe Pesci again.
