Brett L.’s review published on Letterboxd:
The second half of The Post is where the story gains some traction and is often pretty interesting, while the first half is painfully slow, little to no soundtrack, just Hanx/ Streep going on about what felt like nothing. The cinematography was good, nothing particularly to write home about. Acting was the typical 'Hanks in a Spielberg political bio-pick' deal (which is like becoming a thing now). I'm not opposed to learning when seeing movies and The Post is very informative so that's a plus. I just wish the first half of the movie had a little more vitality.
