A wonderful conversation that doesn't feel dated at all. It manages to capture the feeling and memories of falling in love so incredibly well. Especially the parts where Jesse says something boneheaded, or ruins the magic with an explanation of how they're getting worked over by the entertainers they meet along the way. It looks awesome but the acting and action is so bad. Still worth watching though. Queen doing the soundtrack is cool. The costumes and sets are amazing. If you like campy stuff and can make your own fun when watching a movie there is a lot here for you.

Incredibly interesting. The satire is a dim bulb level of intensity but intensely biting. The colors were incredibly rich and the stills were beautiful. I enjoyed the way it documented instead of telling. Lots of long shots of awkwardness that permeate the viewing space without grabbing you by the hand to explain why. It's story is mildly confusing and there is no one to guide you through this. Lots to pick up on rewatches. A wonderful send up of the politeness we put on for society in a painfully naked and poignant way. A real treat and the gorilla scene will stick with you forever.
