A wonderful conversation that doesn't feel dated at all. It manages to capture the feeling and memories of falling in love so incredibly well. Especially the parts where Jesse says something boneheaded, or ruins the magic with an explanation of how they're getting worked over by the entertainers they meet along the way. Celine is incredibly sharp but frustrated, and her level of honesty is inspirational. The deep penetration of subject matter a mere hours after their meeting and the…

I wish someone would have told me about this one earlier. It’s Alex Garland, who has a bunch of other hits. I guess I need to hang out with my weed guy more. This is why I love sci-fi, and as in the movie Moon, this story takes place in isolation, which to me makes it feel like a science experiment. It provides a controlled environment to see how people react. Basically what happens is a very hunky Llewyn Davis…

The original is so perfect. Aladdin and Genie were both severely lacking in the singing department. When Jasmine finally opened her mouth for A Whole New World I said, ·"finally a person who is at least trying to sing." Iago's role was also very downplayed in this version. It wasn't a waste of time I just don't think it has some the magic as before. My daughter liked it.

Incredibly interesting. The satire is a dim bulb level of intensity but intensely biting. The colors were incredibly rich and the stills were beautiful. I enjoyed the way it documented instead of telling. Lots of long shots of awkwardness that permeate the viewing space without grabbing you by the hand to explain why. It's story is mildly confusing and there is no one to guide you through this. Lots to pick up on rewatches. A wonderful send up of the politeness we put on for society in a painfully naked and poignant way. A real treat and the gorilla scene will stick with you forever.

The movie looks incredible and the city offers a very dynamic backdrop. The use of blur and speed manipulation capture the feeling of memory or rushing through a scenario very well. A lot of it seems very dreamlike. It's closer to remembering how you met the love of your life vs how you actually did.

All the acting is excellent. Faye was manic-pixie-dream-girl-esque but it wasn't to save a man. The officer was heartbroken and new love didn't fix all…

I loved this. Godzilla is scary as fuck in this and that explosive display of power in the center on the film got me standing up and covering my mouth. The level of destruction in this movie is incredible.

The majority of the movie is all govt inefficiency and military squabbling and some back door deal making. The throwback soundtrack and uniform colors and anime style shots made this all the more interesting. I loved the voice acting in the dubbed version and thought the whole crew came off as genuine officials in charge of dealing with an unknown catastrophe. I'll watch this again.

Really compelling look at motion picture and the stereotypes it has enforced. Also a great way to find new folks from native directors. It's funny and gut wrenching and an easy watch. It also gives a lot of behind the scenes info about famous moments in movie history. It's an informative watch for anyone.

Hilarious and shot in a really fun way. Seeing castle shit in fish eye was really neat. I hate period pieces and didn't think I could make it once it started but I ended up loving this!

There are so many layers to the suffering in all of it and the end was just so brutal I covered my mouth and laughed.

Overall I think most people will be intrigued by this film. It's wonderful.

Incredibly beautiful movie with lots of heart. It's quite long but the characters keep everything moving smoothly. Lots of surprise in this one as well. Kids love it.

Excellent oddball horror movie. Reading subs felt like missing some of the action but the movie is incredibly weird and will probably be better with rewatches. The music was all unique and very charming. Overall the story was tenuous but the special effects and bold artistic choices make for a confusing but rewarding experience.
