powerful politically motivated film in the tradition of Costa-Gavras's films like The Missing, and Z. The film tells the parallel stories of intrepid Australian journalists in 1975 who went to Timor to document the illegal invasion of the country by Indonesia. One storyline follows Roger East (Anthony LaPaglia) a veteran reporter who travels to Timor at the request of Jose Ramos-Horta (Oscar Isaac) to locate five missing journalists. The other storyline reveals the missing journalist's story in flashbacks.

  • Carol

One of the best films of 2015 and easily one of director Todd Haynes best films. Rooney Mara is amazing in the film and Ed Lachman's cinematography is gorgeous.
