Brian Tallerico’s review published on Letterboxd:
Poor you.
Scene by scene, it works. There are rich characters and interesting moments. It just lacks overall shape when you consider the whole. It almost feels like a season of a show compressed into two hours.
In the legacy of The Sopranos, it’s a disappointment. As an adult theatrical drama, something that’s increasingly rare from major studios, it’s an engaging effort.
Fans will be divided.
Poor them.
