This film literally broke my stereo. It just said “PROTECT” on the display, and then started to smell like burning plastic. It was really old, but still sad. RIP Sharp-y.

Absolutely touching documentary about the titular blind abboriginal aussie singer. Inspiring, and impactful message...do not underestimate the blind and cherish - not forget - a national heritage. His story is not only remarkable, his voice and raw natural talent made this doc unforgettable.

Wrapped up in the physical manifestations of the terror of technology and questions of how it affects our reality is this strange, unsettling, and shocking movie. Starring #1 dirtbag James Woods, and #1 queen Debbie Harry, we’re shown gruesome torture and body modification intertwined with halucenogenic images of the marrriage of tech and human (new) flesh to convey a forboding picture of Chronenberg’s future where human and machine meld into one and where consciousness is dictated by our consumption of entertainment. Scary and corny (in the best way possible)...definitely not for everyone, but if you can STOMACH it, its still worth a late night watch.
