An absolutely amazing film. One that loves food almost as, or maybe even more than, it loves cinema. I need every movie to start off with Yakuza Koji Yakusho threatening people not to make noise during a movie in the theater or he'll off them. Also, it was great to see a young Ken Watanabe in this who I kept wondering who was for the first 15 minutes or so, and then it hit me whose young face I was…

I finally got around to watching the first film I've seen by Hong Sang-soo and Woman on the Beach (2006) is just what I expected them to be based on what I've heard about his films so far. I love how Hong Sang-soo portrays these different relationships between each character. At first, I was put off by the way that Jung-rae acts when he's first introduced because he seems like such an asshole but once you get to see how…

An absolutely beautiful but tragic film that mixes comedy and tragedy in the most peculiar way. The first 40 or so minutes of this film is a pure comedy that has the most amazing setups for jokes such as "Mary, the key!" as Guido pretends to beg for the Virgin Mary to toss down the key to make Dora say yes after having seen a man ask his wife Mary to toss the key every morning from the house window…

This movie is something along the lines of what Disney would put out and it probably would have faired better for them than Mulan (2020). This film is reminiscent of Big Hero 6 in that it follows a pre-teen kid who tries to fix the turmoils they face with science after suffering the tragic loss of someone close that they love. Full of heart-warming moments and songs that remind the viewer that sometimes the love you are seeking is right beside you all along.

RRR is one of the highest octane blockbusters of the year and possibly of all time. You've never seen a movie more about bromance than this one before either. Because of the bromance, this feels like the Top Gun (1986) of Tollywood. From his introduction, you can't help but love Bheem as he's the character you're rooting for to succeed throughout the film. You end up warming up to Rama even though you know he's working for the British but…
