why is the production value SO high, i’m genuinely still shocked

i liked the way this was structured as an anthology since each story is significantly better than the one that came before it. and tim roth has the most dynamic facial expressions, none of this would work without them.

I can’t pretend to like wes anderson anymore

i feel like you can definitely poke holes in the concept if you think about it too deeply but i was still glued to the screen the whole time. the soundtrack is sick too.

I liked this way more than I expected to. i feel like the boys had nothing going on and could've been a lot more interesting but joe pesci (and marisa tomei) completely carried the movie anyway.

I appreciated this so much more on my second watch.
