Finn’s review published on Letterboxd:
It’s ok. The action choreography is really great and Charlize Theron absolutely kills it. But basically the entire movie is repetitive explanation talk, up to a point where it’s not “usual” anymore. It wants to set up so many things, it basically could have set up at least one sequel and a prequel trilogy. It doesn’t care about its characters or the villain, who couldn’t be more one dimensional. It also had a very weird choice of music, the songs that they used didn’t quite fit with the scenes. They should have cut it to a 90 minutes movie. But what we’ve got, was a most of the time boring setup for Netflix it’s own comic book movie franchise.
