That was great. Will Smith was great, even though I still would have voted for Andrew Garfield or Benedict Cumberbatch. It’s a pretty well made inspirational biopic, but I felt the runtime at times.

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith 2005
Rewatched it in honor of its 17th anniversary. Still the best Star Wars film!

The Counselor 2013
This thing is so random, but pretty entertaining nonetheless. I mean we don’t have to talk about the cast and I was surprised at how randomly brutal this is. I don’t know this was kinda cool.

Malignant 2021
This thing is absolutely bonkers in all the right ways. James Wan really did go all in and delivered (the scene in the police station!). There is some clunky dialogue and I’m not huge about the colour grading. It does take some time until it starts to get going, but when it does it DELIVERS. Definitely check it out!

Reminiscence 2021
There is so much potential. The cast, the look, the concept… but man this was just exposition after exposition and surprisingly boring. Why did Hugh Jackman (who really tried his best) have to explain stuff to himself? What a disappointment.

The Making of: The French Dispatch 2022
HOW was this snubbed for Best Production Design?! (Watched it to further complete Timothée Chalamet’s filmography)

The Village 2004
Liked this quite a bit! Great cast and a slowly unraveling story greatly written/directed by Shyamalan.
