A movie where the large cast of odd characters doesn’t actually take away from the comedy of the lead actress. This was quite fun to watch.

I was really really pumped for this movie. Correction, I was pumped for the IDEA of this movie. After seeing the trailer I was disappointed, but decided to still give it a shot.

The Transformers: The Movie 1986
As I just watched this film for the first time, I now understand what was missing from my childhood, and that this is what I needed the whole time. The surreal animation, “unique” character voices and killer soundtrack (thank you stan bush) really bring you into their world. Even though their world consists mainly of perfect comically timed physical violence, sound effects, 80’s rock, and a couple of lines here and there. Thoroughly enjoyed this film.
