brotherdeacon’s review published on Letterboxd:
Ike and his 12 Disciples talking some inane jingoism and white male superiority. Rabid post-war American self-indulgence, defending a court system which now incarcerates more people than anywhere in the world, overwhelmingly people of color. Fanciful civic manipulation, no matter how powerfully staged, is still to be avoided by films presumably dedicated to ethics--it shouldn't be used to cajole audiences in acceptance of that same systemic manipulation. Philosophically craven.
