We don't need AIs to destroy us, we have our own arrogance.
Notes on the Director:
Alex Garland's films have reminded us of the endless possibility for originality in science fiction. Alongside Christopher Nolan (good company) he's made original, high quality science fiction films in an era when they're mostly either Star Wars sequels or superhero films.
I have not had a chance to watch DEVS, but I hear that Garland wants to step away from sci-fi for his next project, and that he wants to make another TV series. Good for him, I'm interested to see what he does with a different genre.
Notes on the List:
In order of preference.
My thoughts change frequently, so the list may change periodically.
Updating as they are released.
