Wes Anderson is one of a number of modern filmmakers who have a very specific style that applies to every one of their films. However, Wes Anderson is definitely at the extreme end of this spectrum, with his latest film The Grand Budapest Hotel attracting comments that he is 'becoming a parody of himself.' This may be true, or maybe he has been developing his style purposefully through the years to fully convey what he is trying to do and say.
