The Wolf of Wall Street is a very vibrant and entertaining watch. It’s amazing how Martin Scorsese still hasn’t lost his touch, having so much energy on display with his newest film. There were a lot of hilarious and absurd moments with some terrific performances. Leonardo DiCaprio completely dives into his character, exploring his ambitions and crazy lifestyle. Jonah Hill and Matthew McConaughey were just as believable as other insane stockbrokers. I feel like some of the humor didn’t work very well and a couple of scenes dragged a bit, not adding much to the plot. Nevertheless, The Wolf of Wall Street is Scorsese’s funniest film and I had a good time watching the rise and fall of Jordan Belfort’s empire.
