Really fantastically done by Nolan. As shown by DUNKIRK and OPPENHEIMER, Nolan is settled enough to take full use of his stylistic toolkit -- but never strays far enough from telling a good and well-paced narrative.
Nearly every performance here is extremely well rendered for maximum effect and growth. Nolan does a great service to each one through the mixed media and his classic game of show-early-then-show-again-to-tell.
Incredible ending to a film that pushes and pulls you in joy and anxiety. I simply do not know how to compartmentalize this film. Unlike anything else.
