Underwhelmed by it all, to be honest. Was excited to see this father-son combo, but felt like Carell didn't bring it as much as I would've hoped. It was a decent character study on the effects of addiction and intervention, but I wanted to be more.
The ending left a lot to be desired, but I enjoyed it mostly. I thought it was a unique look into the skate culture of the 90s. I wish companies would stop titling their movies after decades that have very little to do with the plot. This one is set in the 90s, but really could've been set in any decade after 1960. Small problem, but it didn't hinge my viewing pleasure.
