Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood

Gotta be fair. Wasn't sure what to expect with this one. All I know is I loved it a lot. The setting, the tone, the story. One of the most satisfying theatrical experiences I've had in a long time.

The more I have pondered this film, the more emotional I have felt. I don't know if I'd declare this Tarantino's best film but I can definitively say it's my favorite. It's my favorite because it's really the only film of…

Pretty much had Stendhal syndrome as I gazed in awe upon the fantastic storytelling, artistry, and sci-fi world building that was already so well done in the TV series. Seeing the restraints torn apart as the film reaches seemingly boundless cinematic levels is so exhilarating. Other than that, I’m at a loss for words.

I’m conflicted. Still giving this a ‘like’ even if I can admit to probably never seeing this again. But I think that’s mainly because of the absurd runtime, not so much the content. Lots of ideas and concepts that I love, but I wish it went all in with its naturalistic approach the filmmaking style and ideas. But we knew that could never happen. We still need mindless monsters and fights. I see pieces of a great movie throughout just dying to break free. Some better editing, casting changes, and motivated fights worth caring about… this could have been great.

    Four Weddings and a Funeral

This has to be one of the most idiotic movies I've ever seen on so many fucking levels. Makes no fucking sense.

    So it's like this:
    Wedding 1: they fuck
Wedding 2: she's engaged, they fuck again.
Wedding 3: is her wedding to someone else
    Funeral: she's still married
Wedding 4: is his wedding that he calls off when she shows up because he "loves" her.

Between the funeral and fourth wedding there's a lazy 10-month time jump where we…
