This is an animated romantic drama with a fantastic cuban/jazz/bebop soundtrack. It's the story of the rather stormy love affair between Cuban pianist Chico and singer Rita and moves between Havana and New York. The animation is stunning, the music is great, and the love story is sweet. However, while I really enjoyed it, it somehow didn't quite move me as much as, say, The Illusionist did. In other words, I was very impressed by it, but it didn't grab me by the heart.
