The memory of watching this in theaters is so fresh in my mind for some reason. It's funny how the brain just picks random things to latch on to forever.

Something truly fascinating about this is how the unprofessionalism and lack of preparedness and intelligence from the documentary crew actually help highlight and extract the key points James Baldwin tries to make.
Admittedly, I'm not familiar with Baldwin's work as a writer, but seeing him in his element here and just hearing him speak for a few minutes gave me the urge to read every single piece of work he produced.
