Only the French would make a film like this, with only two actors, in one apartment, basically doing nothing but talk for 85 minutes. I can't imagine the U.S. producing a film like this. It must have been extremely cheap to make.
Her apartment was fabulous. An apartment that big in Paris would cost millions of euros now.
This is the 20th Michel Deville directed film that I have seen. It's too bad that most of his films haven't been seen by very many people, at least not here on Letterboxd.
