Todd Malkin’s review published on Letterboxd:
It's all well and good enough for a children's adventure, but the book is much better. The movie services every beat of the book at the expense of emotional depth. Would anything else have worked? I don't think so... there's just too much to capture.
I've done this through three mediums; and, without question, the ultimate way to experience The Philosopher's Stone is through the audiobook as read by Steven Fry.
