It is a casual and cold film preferring to photograph from a distance and observe the characters. More of a filmed magazine article in its remoteness and nonlinear editing patterns, which is part of what makes the movie compelling. Another Sofia Coppola movie where the central characters climax is handled without words. Devasting.
