  An incredible feat of filmmaking to have so many naked men and so few cock shots.

  Top tier blockbuster. Ancestral lines equating to primal urge to survive, revenge as the fury of a wild animal desperate to keep alive blood lines that don’t even exist yet. Men who see the future as dependent on a confrontation with the past. Really felt like a perfect distillation of Eggers’ obsession with historical accuracy as a kind of obsessive toying with potential futures. …

  The every improving realism of this type of animation seems to be increasingly clashing with the style of characterisation and can sometimes start to hit a kind of creepy uncanniness. But the pandas were so cute and otherwise this was great.

  I saw the 5 stars for this all over letterboxd. I wasn't taken in… Don't ask why, but I suppose it's just in my personality to not trust anyone ever who says something is good, even without my approval.
