I was going to watch the rest of the series again before watching this Final Chapter, but every one of the sequels begins like the writer/director had never seen the previous film anyway, so...
The Final Chapter barrels along at a very quick pace with so many cuts that it looks like it was edited by a school full of kids with ADD. Especially in the fight scenes. I know that these comments may look like complaints and to a certain extent they are, yet somehow I can watch any of these Resident Evil films at practically any given moment and be suitably entertained enough that I'm willing to forgive the fact that it's really not a series of events that make even a lick of goddamn sense. It is truly one of the weirdest fucking series that I've ever seen.
