Sorcerer ★★★★★

"You wanna tell me where I'm going?"
"I swear to Christ I don't know."

Four men get in hot water in their respective towns and wind up in South America to lay low. Only problem is that the water's pretty damn hot there too. Fortunately, they're offered a high paying job that'll allow them to relocate. Unfortunately, that job requires them to move six cases of unstable nitroglycerin across 200 miles of jungle terrain.

Sorcerer isn't anywhere near as wild as the crazy-ass stunts that are on display in the Fast & Furious movies, but it's more tense than all eight of those films combined. I've never been so nervous watching a truck cross a bridge before in my life.

Definitely one of Friedkin's best films. I'm glad that I finally watched it.
