Bumbler B. Benson’s review published on Letterboxd:
I was reluctant to watch this, but after my parents forced me to do just that all I have to say is meh. I couldn't bring myself to hate it, it's just dumb fun. The first issue lies in how seriously it takes itself, it desperately tries to evoke feelings from the audience but miserably fails. Second, the supporting cast is very boring, I fail to remember a majority of their names. Third, maybe it's just me but the soundtrack at times felt really unfitting. Finally, there was multiple ocations where this movie felt disconnected from reality in the strangest ways possible, for example Cruella burning a white dress to reveal a red dress which I believe is in the trailer. What can I say? It's just a really stupid movie that thinks it's the next insert smart person or work of art because I'm too lazy to come up with one myself.
