Charlie’s review published on Letterboxd:
Nolan finally got to make his very own idiosyncratic James Bond film, and it’s really fun! I’ll echo the sentiments of the others here in saying that the sound mix is off (half of the dialogue is unintelligible) and the characters are really lacking (just like in Dunkirk), but the presentation more than makes up for it. Tenet has a wonderfully hypnotic soundtrack, clean camerawork, and maybe Nolan’s best action setpieces to date. It’s great to finally have a really good new film to look forward to watching and rewatching in quarantine (though if your area has a high COVID case count or you have any health concerns please don’t take the risk of going to the cinema).
