“Corn syrup. Same stuff they used for pig’s blood in Carrie.” - Billy
This is my favorite horror movie between the Halloween saga and all that related, it was good in 1996, it is good now and it will be good forever, this movie has aged well.
I already knew the ending because I watched it long time ago but it’s still a perfect horror movie with some funny touches.
The performances are really great starting from the main character, Sidney (Neve Campbell) and continuing with her circle of friends, highlighting Billy (Skeet Ulrich) and Randy (Jamie Kennedy). The pacing is great, it has mesmerizing parts and the plot is amazing.
It does movie allusions during the whole time and that’s nice how other movies take an important part into this one. Another thing that I liked too much was the opening sequence, it couldn’t be better helped with the sadistic jokes and that intriguing voice.
Highly recommended if you haven’t watched it yet.
