It really should come with an advisory, a lot of animals were harmed in the making of this film, and it really is true. Most people do not like seeing animals harmed in movies, they have an innocence to them as a whole and it can at times be very hard on the viewer.
That being said this movie starts off really well with great cinematography shots and real classy music. Its followed by an interesting and realistic premise. It has that 80's charm to it as well. The acting isn't anything special, the affects are decent. It has your suspense, your love story, your mother who wishes she was a better mother. The whole nine yards. This movie is just a sweet little horror gem from the past.
