Pretty good music video.
Even though sometimes too heavy handed on the message it wants to convey (I think reality is much uglier than what we could be led to believe by the end of the movie), Human's scope is undoubtedly very ambitious and the end result is a mostly stunning piece of visual arts and a collection of testimonies that often strike very close to home.
You probably can't talk about life without talking about politics, but sometimes during this movie it felt…
So Michael Mann decided to make movies and for his debut act he just created a proper fine picture featuring some of the smoothest, sexiest nights I've seen on film so far. I'm not going to complain about that, nope, not me.
And I'm not going to complain about the absolute masterpiece that is the soudtrack of this movie either, those 80's cold synths fit so well with the imagery of the neon soaked, wet, and derelict roads it makes me feel like I'm dreaming of drifting from bar to gas station, looking for the Thief, and it feels so good.
